We’re pleased to introduce 2YKFF CAPSULE, our new digital selection format designed to extend the festival experience throughout the year and create a living, ever-evolving space for short films.

Developed in collaboration with CHEYNI, an international digital screening and submission platform for film festivals, this curated format aims to give short films a more flexible, accessible, and global circulation between online and physical screenings.
​
With open calls running year-round, each month we will present a new CAPSULE—bringing short films from around the world to audiences both online and at selected physical venues. Every CAPSULE will feature a curated selection distinguished by its own theme, form, style, and structure, accompanied by conversations and parallel events.

Our first call “A Light for the Future” is now open for animation short films. Submissions are accepted until 24 December 2025. You can access all submission details via the link.
