The content creation and production processes of the International 2 Sides Short Film Festival are carried out by a core team, and this team is accompanied by different teams based on their areas of expertise in each edition.
Derya Efe Uluca
Festival Director, Curator

As a founding and executive member of the Digital Film Atelier, Theatre 4, and Co.LAB4 Contemporary Culture Movement, Derya Efe has been working as a cultural manager, director, and filmmaker in national and international projects since 2012. She designs cultural and artistic events in collaboration with Originn Creative Hub and has been serving as the festival director of the International 2 Sides Short Film Festival since 2019.
Ezel DoÄŸu
Media & Design Coordinator

She is a Senior Graphic Designer who has worked in advertising agencies and freelance projects since 2006. Throughout her career, she has held positions such as Graphic Designer, Art Director and UI/UX Designer. Since 2020, she has been responsible for the design applications of the International 2 Sides Short Film Festival.

Content Editor
He is a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Dramatic Writing and Dramaturgy. He works as a playwright in theatre and as a screenwriter for television and film projects, and also writes scripts for commercials. He works as a content editor at the International 2 Sides Short Film Festival.
Zehra CerrahoÄŸlu
Content & Event Manager, Curator

She is an associate professor at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Film Design and Directing. She worked as a visiting researcher at the University of St Andrews (2011) and Stockholm University (2021), and has served as an assistant director and editor in short and feature-length films. Since 2019, she has been working as a curator at the International 2 Sides Short Film Festival and developing film projects.
Barış Kösem
Program Assistant
His short films, which he wrote and directed, have been screened at national and international festivals. He is a graduate of YaÅŸar University, Department of Film Design. He teaches short film courses at private high schools, continues to conduct workshops, and develops new short and feature film projects. He is part of the executive team of the International 2 Sides Short Film Festival, contributing to the festival’s programming and educational activities.

Following her studies in media arts and cultural management, she has worked with various institutions and projects in the fields of culture and arts, civil society, and media. In addition to event communication, she works in project development and international collaborations. Since 2020, she has been part of the executive team of the International 2 Sides Short Film Festival.

Actor and director. In addition to his work in theatre, cinema, and television, he develops national and international culture and arts–focused projects. He works as a curator and advisor on the founding and executive team of the International 2 Sides Short Film Festival.

Barış Kösem His short films, which he wrote and directed, have been screened at national and international festivals. He is a graduate of Yaşar University, Department of Film Design. Erdem Türsen Erdem Türsen is a director and filmmaker working in the field of cinema. He began his film education in the Media and Film Directing program at Plato Vocational School, obtained professional certifications through international filmmaking programs, and later specialized in Cinematography (DoP) at Antalya AKEV University. In the 2024–2025 academic year, he returned to undergraduate studies in the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. Focusing on experimental cinema, Türsen gained attention with his award-winning film Motus at the 21st International KISA-CA Student Film Festival, and aims to continue his academic studies alongside professional film production.

Fredrik Gustafsson A film historian with a PhD in cinema studies from University of St Andrews, Fredrik has worked in various capacities over the last 20 years, as curator, critic, lecturer, and archivist. He has organized film festivals around the world, and curated film screenings at MoMA in New York as well as in Stockholm. He is currently working on a project concerning film and ethics.
Pip Chodorov Pip Chodorov is a filmmaker, artist, and film activist who has been producing films and music since childhood. He divides his time between New York, Paris, and Seoul, where he teaches film theory and filmmaking at Dongguk University. He has directed over two dozen experimental films and more than a dozen documentary portraits of filmmakers, including the feature-length documentary Free Radicals: A History of Experimental Film (2011). Chodorov studied cognitive science at the University of Rochester and film semiotics at the Sorbonne in Paris. Active in film distribution since 1988, he is a co-founder of Re:Voir and The Film Gallery in Paris, as well as the cooperative film lab L’Abominable and the FrameWorks network.

She has extensive experience in cultural mediation at La Biennale di Venezia, coordinating the Cultural Mediation Program for Romania’s participation in the 19th International Architecture Exhibition (2025), and contributing to other projects at the Venice Art Biennale in 2019 and 2024. She is also a co-producer of two group exhibitions in Bucharest - Gems! for the Garden (2023) and Living Content: Under Pressure (2021) - organised by Living Content.
